Rumination

I got a question in my heart
Today when I thought I felt
We both walked together for some time
But we both weren’t companions forever
I used to laugh on your talks
My breathes were fragrant with yours
But I have only one pain in my heart
We both weren’t companions forever

A question repeatedly strike in my heart
Today when I thought I felt
We both walked together for some time
But we both weren’t companions forever
Who thought there will be days like this?
We will lose even our shadows
I don’t even know if I am happy or sad
But we both weren’t companions forever

I got a question in my heart
Today when I thought I felt
We both walked together for some time
But we both weren’t companions forever
My heart is broken and my body is lifeless
I have no feelings left
And my eyes didn’t get wet by thinking this
After all we both weren’t companions forever
I got a question in my heart
Today when I thought I felt
We both walked together for some time
But we both weren’t companions forever

COLD DARK FRIGHTENING ROOM

I remember
the first day of kindergarten
mom would never leave me unless I was ready

I remember
the classroom so dark
so many eyes staring blankly at me

I remember
the teacher so calm, as the children ran with excitement
she was just too good to be true
I wish my nightmare was over

I remember
there, that girl in the back corner of the room
blond hair, cute eyes
alone.

I remember
sitting by her
a tear rolling down my cheek as my mom left me
the girl is so sweet
we played for hours on that first day of kindergarten
we became friends
best friends
still

My mom left me in that cold, dark, frightening room
with my best friend
that made every part of going to the first day of kindergarten,
worth it

My Innermost One

It was you the innermost one
Who awakens my being, with your deep hidden touch
It was u my innermost one
Who make me understand, what I am.
It was u who is always beside me
In every cascade of joy and sorrow

There is a deep corner of my heart
In which no one can stay , but you.
There is a long time in my day
In which no thoughts can come but yours

With you inside me my innermost one
I am blessed with tranquility,
you calm my pain , time and again,
by serenading my soul
and making me whole.

Life isn't a matter of milestones, but of moments

I know many people unfortunately that take their family for granted. I give thanks on a daily basis for having such a wonderful family. My family from my parents, to my brother have helped to make me who I am today. All I can remember is how happy and how much fun we have always had together. I have learned so much from all of them and I take it with me every day. I still continue to learn from my parents on a daily basis. They have taught me so much that I wouldn't even know where to begin to thank them. Obviously I have had my ups and downs just like everyone else. But, I have always been very fortunate to have a family that has always been there to give me the boost I needed to get back up or to give me the push I needed to keep driving forward. One of the main things that I have been able to take from my family is that no matter what happens there is always one constant in my life and that is the love and support that we give each other.
Over the years my parents and brother have become more to me than just my parents or just my brother they have become my best friends. They truly are my rock. And are a huge part of what brings me the most joy in my life. I love you all so much.

Tell Me a Lie............

Look into my eyes
And tell me that I have to forget you

Hold my hand
Dig your fingernails into my palms
And tell me that I have to forget you

Come closer
Hug me
Take your heart out of my chest
And tell me that I have to forget you

Kiss me
Cast a spell on my lips
And tell me that I have to forget you

Look into my eyes
And tell me a lie
Because truth does not matter anymore.

I Wish.....................

  I Wish……

I wish you can see what you have done,
I wish you can feel what I feel
I wish someday I want to see you
I wish someday I won’t have to see you

I wish you can see how lonely I am without you
I wish you can see that my smile was rehearsed
                             Because of you………..I wish I didn’t exist.
Because of you…………..I wish I never knew you

I wish one day I will be able to forget you,
Or I wish, soon I will come near you.
I wish I can see you one last time.
I wish I can tell you this……..

I wish you can see how it feels living without you
I wish you can see what you have done.

Simplicity is a Art

“As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness.”
                                            ~Henry David Thoreau

Before seeing simplicity as a art let us first reach to a consensus what simplicity is?What make something simple ? When I asked Google's view on this he explained it as a burden which things put on someone trying to explain or understand it.so honest answer, innocent isn't it? He doesn't know we are trying to figure out simplicity in different context. Google is so simple and that is the quality which attract most of us.

Simplicity of Life
So what is simplicity of life? What I believe is there is no particular definition of simplicity. Nobody can define it. My vision of simple life can be utterly different from yours.

I have read about someone living in a small hut in Metro like Delhi, with no electricity or running water or television or Internet. They chop wood from the forest outside to burn for heat and cooking. They use water from a nearby stream for drinking and bathing. They walk or bike to town to go to the library or to use the Internet. That’s a pretty simple life by most definitions.

I’ve also seen photos of pretty expensive houses, decorated in a very minimalist fashion, ancient in their simplicity, but also decorated with expensive furniture. These houses are gorgeous, and their minimalist interiors are extremely attractive … but it takes a lot of money to get to that point. This could be one kind of simplicity, but it’s not for everyone.

I’ve also seen  people who live extremely frugally, rarely buying new items, making things last as long as possible, growing food in a garden, buying things second-hand in thrift shops when necessary. This kind of frugality is one kind of simplicity.. But it’s not the kind of simplicity for everyone.

My idea of a simple life
Again, this isn’t what you need to go for, and it’s not even what you need to agree with. We can each have our own vision. My idea is that I make room in my life for the essentials — the things I love to do and the people I love to be with. I remove the non-essentials as much as possible, and leave a life that isn’t overwhelmed with tasks and projects and errands, but has space … space for what I want to do, and space between things. So that I can live a peaceful life, move slowly, work happily, and spend time with the people I care most about.

This might mean that I live frugally (so that I can work less, or save for what’s important), or it might mean that I sometimes splurge, because life is too short not to enjoy things while you can. I find ways to enjoy myself without spending money.

Why simplicity?
Simplicity is a goal. Not necessarily with an intent to keep things in life simple, but simple as a way of achieving clarity and enlightenment in our life experience.
Life ,after all, is complex and full of details. One have to do list personal planner to be organized. but at the same time simplicity in life is one thing we strive for once this complexities in life are IRONED OUT.
I believe it’s important to keep a sense of simplicity in life, even to an extant to approach a lot of situations with a simple, almost child-like manner. And many times, keeping life simple and clear is closest to the truth as one can get.
When one ponders over this, life is too short to deal with too many details and complexities. Leading a more simplified lifestyle makes our lives more manageable and less stressful.
As Leonardo Da' Vinchi quoted it
                                  "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication"

How to achieve it ?

As one of my very simple professor use to say " I must admit this is a tricky question ". We have a tendency to make simple things in our day to day life complex. As I said there is no particular way to achieve it. But it is artistic, To convert Complex things simple, awesomely simple, is creativity.
Have you ever seen someone whom you like because he has not exhibited any extraordinary quality, because he is looking down to earth ,  because he has no particular intention of winning world but he work hard just because he enjoy his work. Or any thing which you categorize as  simple and has attracted you. Though you cannot objectively find any salient points about him but you can sense there is something different about him. It is very creative to be simple , It is very creative  to frame your definition of simplicity, It is very creative to be flexible enough to change your perception about simplicity frequently and that is why I said that "Simplicity is a Art".
